The other night I was extremely flattered to be asked to be a backup dancer for Max Steele and The Party Ice with Mim at the $pread Magazine Benefit at the Slipper Room.
Last night Lex and I saw Be Your Own Pet and The Ponys at Rothko. Be Your Own Pet are fantastic. They are Lex's sister's boyfriend's band. The lead singer is a fucking rock and roll star with thq quasi Keith Richards hair and I want to be her. On the way back to my place Lex stepped in something slick, and it turned out to be ghostbuster slime. There was a whole big bag of it by the curb on 13th street.
